How self check-in works.

  1. On the day you arrive you receive a message with a link to complete check-in online.
  2. Once it is done, you are sent access to the web app.
  3. The web app opens the front door and your own room, for the whole of your stay.
  4. Arrive whenever you like from 3:00 pm, including late at night: there is nobody to wait for and no key to collect.

There is no front desk, so nothing depends on our opening hours. If anything goes wrong you can reach us on WhatsApp, and for emergencies we are reachable around the clock.

What time can I arrive?

Your room is ready from 3:00 pm. From then on you let yourself in with the web app whenever you prefer, including late at night: there is nobody to wait for and no key to collect. Check-out is by 11:00 am.

How does check-in work without a front desk?

On the day you arrive you receive a message to complete check-in online. Once it is done you are sent access to the web app, which opens both the building and your own room for the whole of your stay.

How your stay works

What are the cancellation and payment terms?

They depend on the rate you choose. You will see them during the availability search, before confirming your booking with our booking engine.

Is it better to book directly on this website?

Yes. For the same dates, the direct rate can be up to 20% lower than the rate on booking platforms.

Is there a reception?

No. You check in independently: your room is ready from 3:00 pm and, from then on, the web app lets you enter whenever you prefer, including late at night. During your stay, you can reach us on WhatsApp.

When can I contact you?

For information and ordinary requests we answer from 8 am to 8 pm. For emergencies we are reachable around the clock.

How do I get here from the airports?

From Fiumicino there is the direct SIT Bus Shuttle, which stops in the Vatican area, or the Leonardo Express to Termini and Metro A to Lepanto. From Ciampino, bus 520 and Metro A.

Is an airport transfer available?

Yes: €65 from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, booked at least 24 hours in advance. A driver will pick you up here or meet you in arrivals with a sign. Contact us for night-time or public-holiday transfers.

How the airport transfer works

Are the two rooms different from each other?

They follow the same standard: both are double rooms with a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, safe, fridge and coffee machine. We assign the room available for your dates.

Can I contact you before booking?

Of course. Write to us on WhatsApp, by email or through the contact form to discuss your needs, arrival times and availability.

How do I check availability and price?

Choose your dates in the booking form. The search continues in Octorate’s secure booking engine, where you will find current availability, rates and conditions.

Where is Adriana 5?

On Piazza Adriana, a short walk from Castel Sant’Angelo, between the Vatican and the historic centre. Piazza Cavour, the Tiber and Metro A are all within walking distance.

What amenities are included in the room?

A private bathroom with bidet, air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a safe, a fridge, a coffee machine, a desk, towels and bed linen.

Are children or pets allowed?

The guest house welcomes adults only. Pets, cots and extra beds are not allowed, and the maximum is two guests per room. Smoking, parties and events are not permitted.
